This is my first blog ever, I won’t be getting fancy with all the options although random pictures may show up….
I am a self proclaimed mindfulness teacher and meditation guide. Although I am still learning stuff along with the rest of you.. I am not sure who really is the authority on mindfulness, although there are, (and I have taken part in certification courses), which after achieving the certification, I realize what they had taught was only one very small piece of the great puzzle called “Mindfulness” There is so much more to be discovered within the 3 main building blocks of mindfulness….Presence, Nonjudgement Acceptance, & Higher minded Awareness. Each one of these subjects has an abundance of blogging potential. Some of the spiritual teachings would add Gratitude but I think gratitude is a big enough practice all on its own. This is my intro so I don’t want to leave the block…I have written about my experiences in many notebooks and journals, I decided to blog so I could get some feedback if anyone is inclined. I basically just want to share that this mindfulness stuff is not always easy, and we all including me fall into the same old pitfalls of judgement, worry, therefore missing out on the moment that is happening right now. For example yesterday I was running on 3 hrs of sleep, did I want to take a beautiful walk in the sunshine with my dog? No I was just wanted to gripe about being so tired and shuffle around in zombie mode.
